WISDOM...

...teeth!

Had 2 removed this afternoon. To be honest, i wasn't really scared about the extraction process. I was more concerned about the troublesome aftereffects like... how to eat properly. Good thing i managed to catchup on most of my favourite food already these past 2 weeks (hey, i've been deprived for 10 months in Brisbane).

Anyway, i entered the room, was given a few painful jabs and then transferred to another room. Miss Nurse made me wear a shower cap, strapped a blood pressure-oxygen measuring device around my arm and finger. Then, they covered my face and started. All that made me feel like i was going through some major surgery.

Wisdom No.1 was out in 3 minutes. Unfortunately, her fellow sister-tooth wasn't as obedient. They drilled, sawed, knocked, pulled and yet Wisdom No.2 refused to let go. Mr Dentist must have repeated at least 3 times, "Very stubborn ar". I, was busy interceding, "Lord Jesus, please please please LOOSE this TOOTH!!" There's not much you can do lying on that dentist chair. Funny, i was thinking then too that i should blog about this. One of the very rare moments of inspiration.

Finally after 25 minutes (and more drilling), Wisdom No.2 gave up. Praise the Lord!!

Someone once told me that our wisdom tooth is redundant. Now now, isn't our God a purposeful God? I'm sure He wouldn't have given us wisdom teeth for nothing. Can someone enlighten me on this!

Pei ling, you're still young gal! Hmm...give it some time to sprout!(just being realistic here =P)

Ahahaha, looks like most people have their own teeth stories to share. Not to mention dental fears!

Actually, it's not too bad lar. But then again, once in a lifetime is enough!!!
