In the generation that went before us, legalism was very prevalent in the church. It was very much focused on the "should do's" & the "should not do's". If you don't have long hair (for guys), then you are a good Christian... & that set of mindset.
Today... what has greatly invaded the church is LAWLESSNESS! A reflection of the world in this generation. Hence so many people are desensitized to many things around us. 'Lawlessness abounds'!
With legalism, it weakens our conscience.
But with lawlessness, it makes us loose our love for God.
Do not loose heart in all the struggles that you are going through... do not be desensitized to the things of God.
God will never let you go... but you need to not let God go too.
ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS...
GO ON A LITTLE FARTHER --> HANG ON A LITTLE STRONGER --> PRESS ON A LITTLE LONGER
