~Thanks Wan Phing! I tell ya, you've just demonstrated how girls have such amazing microscopic memory and long lasting too! My mom once got supremely pissed with me for dropping two grains of rice onto her new Persian carpet. She didn't speak to me for 3 days. She still remembers the exact spot till this day! Once it was my turn to clean up the dishes in a house shared with my housemate. I sort of *rinsed* the wok and it was *fairly* clean but apparenly not clean enough. Needless to say, I never became boyfriend material for as long as we are friends. I've got a good many stories but I bet you catch the point! =P

Dr Bill Lees, a retired medical doctor, was one of the early pioneers of SIB in the 1940's and 1950's. He and his wife, Shirley Lees, served among the Lun Bawang tribe in Sabah. Shirley is the author of the book 'Drunk Before Dawn'.

Before I end and just to show how much I love you guys, I'm going to throw in the consolation prize. Dinner at mamak with yours truly across the road from church. Say 6:30 pm? Other than being totally lazy, I think it's practical to dine somewhere close and to avoid the trouble of traffic.

I'm sorry boys and girls. No amount of compliments or "made my day" testimonies wld get you a free dinner. Some of you have been asking me whether I'm actually planning to pay or wash dishes to satisfy your intestines and I really dunno how you got that idea from my humble announcement AND I'm starting to wonder whether it's all part of YOUR greater scheme from your comments here ... to get me to punch a hole in my piggy bank.
I have a sneaking suspicion how some of you can be so "thickfaced" and I am almost convinced that you have been influenced and encouraged by the cell leader herself!
