Aiya what a day man.. I’m currently typing this in the office. Well.. one word I’m dying of boredom!
Well, because the person who usually gives me work to do is on leave. For a week! O muh gwosh…. (>.<”) So I really got nothing better to do.
Sigh.. so sleepy somemore. (-_-“) Hmm really really don’t know what to do. Well, I’ll just randomly talk about something la.
Last Saturday (1st of July 2006), so happened to be my big brother’s birthday, but I was out all day and did not even wish him Happy Birthday even till today. HA-HA! I’m such a good sister! Anyway guys, got any suggestion ar? I want to buy him a birthday present. What to buy ar??
Well supposedly, I got Prima Meeting in the morning at 10am. I thought it was 9am. So hmm in the end meeting was cancelled. Then I get to sleep longer. Hehe =P Six of us went to Prima Selayang. It was pretty fun. Mei Shyuan organised the Treasure Hunt for the children. So we the big brothers and the big sisters take care of the younger ones. We break into 7 groups. Which consist of approximately 5 - 7 person. The big Sib-lings =P each look after a group.
The children are so active, so energetic. They ran so fast. I nearly lost all of them. You can really see that they’re very cooperative and really know how to help each other and take care of each other. In the beginning there was this issue thingy whereby some of the children wouldn’t really mix around because of different race.
They wouldn’t even hold/shake each other’s hands. I think throughout the whole Treasure Hunt thing. The most memorable moment would have to be crossing the drain to get to the SMK Ideal Heights. (And apparently this shortcut is not allow in the game)
The children really helped each other. They figured out how to make it easier for everyone to cross over the drain. By putting a few big rocks in the center of the drain and enable us to cross over easily besides jumping across. Which was very dangerous.
I learnt a lot from all the children. I have to confess. In the beginning I was rather lazy to even think of going there on Saturdays. There was no commitment to it at all. To think of giving up my Saturdays for meetings and to go for Prima Selayang.
And now, I don’t think is a waste of time anymore. Infact each and everytime I go there, I feel so happy and is really good to see all of them slowly beginning to mix around and getting to know each other. I truly believe there will be a breakthrough in this community.
I strongly encourage all of you to come on the 15th July 2006 the next meeting. Really go there and get to know the children and even learn to understand this community. (Lindy, this is not compulsory for everyone right ?)
Hmm.. I guess I shall just end here la. I know is a bit too long. Haha =P Sorry ar! Oh ya.. the Settlers Café is FUN! Heehee.. Jamie.. the games there are rather addictive eh ?
Have a good week Simply-ians! And Kuan Kitt have a safe trip to UK on Friday. =)
